My ‘Cafe in Copenhagen’ print is currently on show at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Great to be taking part and well worth a visit!
The exhibition runs from 4 June – 12 August
If you do have a chance to visit the Royal Academy to see the Summer exhibition, there’s a small exhibition of Henry Rushburys drawings, watercolours and etchings. I almost overlooked it but as soon as I walked in the Tennant Gallery, his drawings of cities and street life drew me in. Beautiful etchings and drawings! I was blown away by his draughtsmanship. I particularly like the image below entitled ‘Study for Forging a Big Gun, Sheffield, 1941.
Please come along to the Royal Academy of Arts Summer exhibition. As always there's a huge range of work. You can find my South Bank picture in the Great Eastern room and in Small Weston Room and it features in Royal Academy Illustrated 2010 on pg 68.
