I’ve been playing around with colour on my new Brighton lino print. The buildings on Market Street are colourful so I enjoyed incorporating colours I don’t normally use like olive green and pink.
I spent a few hours drawing around Camden. Really enjoyed returning to the area. My sister lived nearby a good few years ago and I always enjoyed visiting. It wasn’t as busy as it gets during the weekends so ideal for wandering and sketching.
I plugged in my earphones, sketched around Camden and walked towards Primrose Hill. I sat by the canal and took out my pens. A couple of Canada geese thought it was lunch time. I felt bad to disappoint them. However I did incorporate them into the scene.
I even ended up chatting with the owners. Light faded and it was getting cold. Time to move on.
