New drawings

Had a great time at the opening of Pastorale Christmas exhibition on Saturday. Thanks to everyone who made it. The show also runs next Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December so please do stop by if you can.

I’ve been sorting through a few recent drawings and I’ve included them on my website. I did this small pastel and ink drawing when I last visited Eastbourne in the Summer. Please take a look

Pastorale Antiques Exhibition

I will be taking part in a group Christmas show at Pastorale Studio and Antiques, 15 Malling Street, Lewes.

The show starts on Saturday 8th December and runs for two weekends. There will be photographs and paintings on show as well as limited edition prints and cards. Not forgetting the Buttercup Cafe in the courtyard for delicious tea and cake. Hope you can make it!

Sports Bar print

I’ve just proofed a new Boston sports bar linocut print. I’ve been playing around with colours. Originally I printed the basket ball court (on the TV) green as the Boston Celtics were playing on a green court when I did my sketch. However it appeared to confuse friends as you associate football with a green pitch and they’re playing basket ball! Anyway I’m sticking with orange . . .
